Applied (E-filed) on 4/19/2010 LUD on 4/26/2010 received receipt notice in a week.So far no finger print notice . I did received finger print twice in the past when I applied for EAD even though they took finger prints for I-485.
I heard that finger prints obtained at port of entry will be good for other immigration related applications.

It seems you want others to spoon feed you everything. Stop this bickering and stop complaining. Stop taking offense from nonsensical things, grow-up and look at the bigger picture.
Over reaction by "reno" without checking the thread shifting was not good. But under any circumstances we should avoid using wrong words. This creates a wrong impression and indirectly hurts the organization. We have some examples in past.
I appreciate Pappu's maturity to tackle the issue and his explanation.

To avoid being like the thread running a few days ago, I don't want to be responding to each response. However, I do want clear a few things:
I am not promoting one parenting technique over the other.
As I said, I agree with a few things and disagree with a few things the author talks about.
Having kids myself, I cannot think of a parent who would do harm to their own child. Each set of parents come with their own parenting skills that works for them and their children. I leave it at that.
I only posted this because my doc asked me of my opinion and I in turn asked the opinion of IV members. If this thread is going to turn ugly, lets stop it, that was not my intention.

I have Labor (PERM) and I140 approved from my current employer.
can I apply trasfer and extension with new employer.
Advice is highly appreciated.

BUT, your new employer has to do your PERM and I140 all over again. you can retain your old PD though!!

Hi Friends,
This is first time I am posting this topic here. Please excuse me if this is wrong post or question at this time.
Today my sister got a phone call from a Detective saying that she is suspecting on Jewelery theft from a neighborhood. We shocked for getting that type of call. The person who complainted is close to my family. He is also Indian and from same region. Recently he moved from my city. He lost couple of jewelery items this year.
My sister is very good and try to help most of the people nearby. The detective said that investigation is going on for this issue. We are so worrying on this issue.
We know she is genuine and did not do anything but my question is any problem in green card process?.
How to prove my sister is not commited such kind of activity. Please try to help me on this

shutterbabe: Prior to July fiasco, EAD is issued after regular FP; but I have not heard of separate FP to process EAD for Paperfiling cases. If you (have) efile(d) your AP, you will get a separate notice to FP for EAD without that your EAD will not be issued. I would advise you to take an inforpass appointment and discuss with I/O. At the worst case, you have them open a SR and take it from there.

Isn't this everyody's concern ? GC process is something that has absolutely no predictability. It's all luck...I've been waiting for that moment from almost 8 years postponing many important decisions in life. So, I've come to the realization that the only thing we can do is hope.
